Is meant literally as root or just with root privileges like you got with

su -

Using the OBS Mozilla Repository

On 2018-04-16, Michal Kubeček wrote on opensuse-factory: "You can find firefox-esr package in OBS project "mozilla". This project contains other stuff as well so it's not really suitable as an addon repository but the package can be easily linked into your own project (as I do)."

Does this mean the instructions to use the OBS Mozilla repository on this page are bad? If so, somebody should add step-by-step instructions how to do it the right way. --Jowagner (talk) 07:12, 16 April 2018 (UTC)

Firefox profile in RAM

The discussion page points out a few issues with this approach. Also, I don't know what the `%i` does in the systemd config and how this would interact with the calls to the sync script without this argument. Jowagner (talk) 08:50, 4 April 2019 (UTC)

`%i` is just a way to pass parameters from the unit name (unit1@some_value.service) into the unit itself. I agree that manually creating unit files and so on with current profile name are ugly, but it's just an additional and extremely optional way. But as it has advantages it could at least mentioned here. -- User:Der user, 4 April 2019

I understand it on that level but the calls from the cron-job, bash_login and bash_logout are without parameter. Looking a bit more at the script I don't think it does anything reasonable when $link is empty. Jowagner (talk) 07:59, 5 April 2019 (UTC)
